Callers get a first response, with a route to your team.
- Answer questions about services, location, and opening hours.
- Let callers request a transfer to a configured human handoff number.
- Review call transcripts and follow-up cases from your workspace.
Sample conversation
Caller
Are you open on Saturday?
Assistant
I can help with the opening hours provided by this business. What would you like to arrange?
Caller
I'd prefer to speak to your team.
Assistant
Use the configured handoff option to request a transfer. Whether a person answers depends on the business's available team and phone service.
Before you start
- A Twilio account and a voice-capable phone number, subject to local availability and verification.
- Your business information, a greeting, and an optional separate human handoff number.
- An eligible NABORYN plan. Twilio numbers, call minutes, forwarding, and transfer charges are separate.
From setup to your first conversation
1.Prepare the assistant
Create the assistant, add business information, and test its answers. Tell callers they are speaking with an AI assistant and explain transcript handling as required.
2.Connect a Twilio voice number
In Channels, add Twilio Voice with the account credentials and the incoming number. Verify the connection, then use Sync webhook to set that number's incoming Voice URL to the NABORYN callback.
3.Decide how calls reach it
Use the Twilio number directly, or ask your existing carrier or phone-system administrator whether your business line supports forwarding to it. Keep your current number if forwarding is supported; NABORYN does not enable carrier forwarding for you.
4.Test the call and the handoff
Activate the assistant and call the connected number. Test a normal question, silence, and a transfer to your separate handoff number. Review Voice call history and follow-up cases before directing customers to it.
What is connected, and what still needs setup
This is the connected Twilio Voice workflow, not an included phone network, emergency line, or guaranteed staffed call centre. Availability, carrier forwarding, regional rules, and transfer success depend on your provider and configuration. Do not forward the human handoff line back into the assistant, which can create a loop.
Questions before you connect
Can I keep my existing business number?
Often this can be done through your carrier's call-forwarding feature, if supported. Your carrier or PBX administrator configures forwarding to the connected Twilio number. Test it first; number porting and universal SIP/PBX support are not promised by NABORYN.
Will it route only missed or after-hours calls?
Conditional, busy, no-answer, and scheduled routing must be supported and configured by your carrier or phone system. NABORYN handles calls that reach its connected number; it does not automatically configure your business line's routing schedule.
Are calls and phone numbers included in my subscription?
No. Your NABORYN plan and AI usage are separate from Twilio and carrier charges. Transfers may add another billable call leg. Review provider pricing before enabling a live line.
